Youth designs the future: Pimp My Future in Aachen!

Aachen, Deutschland - in Aachen takes place from November 6th to 8th the workshop "Pimp My Future", which gives over 100 students the opportunity to contribute their ideas for sustainability and influence local politics. The three -day workshop in the needle factory focuses on practice -oriented solutions for current sustainability issues, whereby the participants are supported by local experts.

The highlight of the workshop is the public final plenary on November 8th in the coronation hall of the Aachen town hall. From 11.15 a.m. to 2 p.m., the young people will present their suggestions and, under the direction of Mayor Sibylle Keupen, will vote on what is a unique opportunity for citizens to experience politics up close. The best ideas are brought into the Citizens' Forum of the City of Aachen and can therefore flow into the local political decision -making processes. This innovative workshop is from "Politics to touch e. ​​V." organized and funded by several urban departments.
