E-car switch collapses: HUK-E-barometer shows alarming (back) development!
Coburg, Deutschland - Electromobility in Germany is in a severe crisis! The new HUK-E-barometer shows alarming numbers: only 3.9 percent of private individuals switch from burners to electric cars-a drastic decline of 40 percent since the purchase of the purchase premium at the end of 2023. Around every third e-car driver (34 percent) is now changing back to the classic burner.
The acceptance for electric cars is sobering according to the latest survey: Almost half of the respondents hold pure electric vehicles "less good" or "not at all well". Despite a wide range of offers, only 2.9 percent of all private cars in Germany stand for electromobility. The e-car content is particularly high in Bavaria, while Saxony-Anhalt, Saxony and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania lag behind. Instead, the market seems to remain loyal to the combustion engine, which endangers the future of electromobility. Further details can be found in the comprehensive report on www.presseportal.de
