The coming week promises in large parts of Germany's summer temperatures of up to 30 degrees. However, caution is particularly advised in the west and southwest of the country, since thunderstorms can occur with heavy rain and hail.
Monday starts with a lot of sunshine in many regions, whereby the temperatures can increase to 30 degrees according to the forecast of the German Weather Service in the east and south. In the north, on the other hand, clouds dominate the weather and in the extreme northern areas can lead to initial rain showers.
On Monday evening, there are strong shower and thunderstorms in the west and southwest of the country, which can go hand in hand with heavy rain, hail and gusts of wind, warns the weather service.
For Tuesday, other showers in the north, partly with lightning and thunder, are predicted. At the same time, the weather calms down in other parts of Germany. In the south it will be mostly friendly after initial showers and short thunderstorms. The temperatures are somewhat more moderate, but are still in the summer area. In the east of the country, up to 29 degrees can be reached locally.
Even at the middle of the week, the weather usually stays warm and slightly changeable. On Wednesday, especially along the Alps Schauer and individual, sometimes strong thunderstorms. So it is worthwhile to continue to have the umbrella at hand in order to be prepared for sudden swings.
