Barnike Cup in Bernau: Children fight for medals and trophies!

In a furious football festival, the Barnike Cup took place on October 29th in the Erich-Wünsch-Halle, a spectacular tournament that attracted over 90 enthusiastic after-school children. Organized by the Kreissportbund Barnim e. V. and the city of Bernau, eight teams from various primary schools fought for medals and trophies in exciting games that spread real sports feeling.

In the exciting final, team B of the elementary school on Blumenhag prevailed with a narrow lead against the elementary school on Hasenheide. Mayor André Stahl and sports officer Benedikt Kniehl paid respect for their fair game and awarded the radiant winners footballs as well as medals and trophies.
