Munich (Bavaria) - An unexpected and shocking incident shaked the Munich citizens. On August 18, a worker found a dead woman in the Garchinger Mühlbach. This tragic find occurred near the Floriansmühl power plant at Freisinger Landstraße 42, a place that is usually associated with its calm bank.

The dead man dressed in a black carrier shirt and black sports pants from the "Crivit" brand had several features that made identification difficult. This included gray and white running socks, which could also be classified as hospital socks. The circumstances of their death and the reasons for their appearance in this area remain unclear to this day.

Investigations and identification

The police had initially not been able to find any identification documents that could indicate the identity of the unknown woman. It was about 160 cm tall, sized and showed gray or light blonde hair. Her age was estimated at 60 to 85 years. In this phase, the police turned to the public and asked for information to solve the puzzle and possibly find relatives.

In a call to help, the police encouraged everyone who could know about the identity -free woman to report to them. The investigators were on alert and waited for feedback to clarify the case. Residents and interested parties were asked to submit information from the Munich Police Headquarters, Commissioner 14, on 089/2910-0 or at any other police station.

on September 2, just a few weeks after the first find, the police finally announced an encouraging news: thanks to numerous indications from the population, the identity of the unknown woman had been clarified. It was a 72-year-old who had no permanent residence in Germany. This result was viewed as a great relief, both for the investigators and for the people who were concerned about the fate of the dead.

The Munich Police Headquarters expressly thanks the population for the valuable support that contributed to clarifying the case. The case not only attracted attention about security in the region, but also emphasized the importance of cooperation between the police and the community when it comes to criminal investigations.
