Wild accident on A94: Hirsch causes high damage to property and closure
In the night from Sunday to Monday, a tragic incident occurred on the A 94 in Bavaria, which had significant consequences not only for the affected wildlife stock, but also for the vehicle occupants. Between the Anzing and Forstinning junctions, a missing deer led to a game accident that caused several vehicles and caused high property damage.
A 64-year-old man from the Freising district was the first to collapse with the deer that got on the road. The impact was so strong that the animal was thrown to the ground, which subsequently got another three vehicles into the collision. This kind of accidents illustrates the dangers that can occur with unpredictable encounters with wild animals on the streets. Unfortunately, the deer did not survive the clashes, which in view of the beauties of nature that are on our roads is a particularly oppressive ending.
consequences of the accident
The accident had massive consequences: all affected vehicles were damaged so much that they were no longer ready to drive. The estimate of the property damage incurred amounts to around 85,000 euros. This is a considerable amount that can have a significant impact on both the drivers and their insurance companies.
In addition, the accident caused a significant contamination of the road over several hundred meters. The Hohenbrunn motorway master's house was immediately alerted and began with the cleaning work, which lasted until the early hours of the morning. During this time, the highway was completely closed for about four hours, which brought additional inconvenience for many road users.
Wild accidents like this throw an important light on the need for safety measures in road traffic. It is becoming increasingly important that drivers pay attention to game changes, especially in rural and forested areas. The encounter with wild animals can occur unexpectedly and lead to serious consequences, both for the animals and for humans.
This event is a clear sign of how quickly and unpredictably such accidents can happen. Drivers are encouraged to drive particularly carefully, especially in areas known as a game change. In view of the latest events, it remains to be seen which measures are introduced to increase safety for the wildlife and road users.
