Fair run in Prenzlauer Berg: Discover fair favorite shops and corporate concepts on September 12, 2024

On September 12, 2024, Fairlauf starts in Prenzlauer Berg as part of the fair week, organized by district mayor Dr. Cordelia Koch and the Pankow business development agency in cooperation with the Fair Handel Berlin campaign alliance. The fair run offers the opportunity to discover the variety of fair trade in the neighborhood and get to know seven retail stores that offer fair traded products.

The participants of the fair run receive a fair pass, which is provided with stickers in the participating shops. With four collected stickers there is a little surprise. At the beginning of the fair run on September 12th, three of the shops involved will be presented in more detail. They give an insight into their corporate concepts and the importance of fair trade for you. Registration for the guided tour is possible until September 3, 2024.

The tour starts at 2:00 p.m. at JIOTY - FAIR WORKS, followed by the unpacked shop "because of the thing" and ends with a tasting of fair chocolate in the world shop "Sign of Time". Laura Jäger from the Fair Handel Berlin campaign alliance accompanies the participants during the tour.

The fair run offers sustainable economic retailers a platform and enables them to network with new customer groups. The list of all participating stations is available on the website www.fairerhandel.berlin/fairlauf-pberg. The fair run is organized in four districts by the Fair Trade Action Alliance and serves to strengthen the commitment and visibility of fair trade.
