Southern Argentinian avenue: full closure from September 2024

The transport infrastructure in Berlin has an important update in front of it: The Argentinian avenue is the focus of extensive construction measures on 09. Start September 2024 . These measures include the complete repair of the southern road between house number 67 and Onkel-Tom-Straße . These measures are part of the traffic safety obligation , which is coordinated by the street and green space office Steglitz-Zehlendorf .

The southern road is completely blocked during the construction work. Local residents and road users have to adjust to a detour between the 09.09.2024 and the 24.11.2024 . The responsible authorities have already taken measures to comprehensively inform the residents about the upcoming changes. An information letter from the construction company will be distributed to the affected households in good time in order to minimize inconvenience and to clarify everyone involved about the practical details of the construction work.

An additional aspect concerns the senior leisure center "Hertha-Müller-Haus" . In order to ensure the access to this center during the construction period, a delivery zone is set up on the Wilskistraße seven -way path . This measure is intended to ensure that the delivery for the senior leisure center can be continued unhindered.

In view of the upcoming work, it is important to emphasize that the quality of the transport infrastructure is in the foreground in the long term. The maintenance work on Argentine Allee is essential to ensure security and comfort for all road users. Despite the inevitable inconveniences that are associated with such a construction work, the overarching goal is a future-proof transport infrastructure in Steglitz-Zehlendorf.
