Three slightly injured after rollover: traffic accident on B271 in Kettenheim

Yesterday, a serious traffic accident occurred on the federal road 271, near the Kettenheim-Bahnhof intersection, which injured three people. The incident happened around 1:00 p.m. when a 64-year-old woman drove the K26 towards Kettenheim-Bahnhof with her car. During the crossing of the B271 there was a serious collision with a 19-year-old driver who moved towards Alzey at the same time.

The 64-year-old overlooked the approach of the approaching vehicle, which caused the 19-year-old car to overturn when it was impact. Both the driver and his 18-year-old passenger were very lucky in misfortune and luckily only suffered minor injuries. They were immediately brought to nearby hospitals by the ambulance service, where they can be medical care.

In addition to the rescue workers, the fire brigades from Kettenheim, Esselborn and Alzey-Land-Süd were also on site to cope with the situation. The fire brigades played a crucial role in securing the scene of the accident and removing ruins that arose from the accident.
