Fire brigade use in Neheim-Bergheim: Tool battery ensures excitement

On Thursday afternoon, the Arnsberg fire brigade was called to the Werdener Hof in Neheim-Bergheim together with emergency services and police. The reason: a kitchen fire, which was reported by house residents at the district control center in Meschede.

When the forces of the full-time guard arrived at the site, they found that the fire was caused by a tool battery. The battery ran in flames in the charging station while loading. After the device was separated from the electricity, it could be brought out of the house and successfully deleted.

In order to remove smoke development, the building was ventilated with a high -performance fan. Two house residents were brought to a nearby hospital from the emergency services due to a possible flue gas intoxication.
