environmentalists save endangered animal species in the city forest

An impressive example of the use for endangered animal species occurred in the Cologne city forest today. Environmentalists, under the direction of the activist Jonas Müller, have successfully dissolved an illegal line -up in the Gremberger Wäldchen to protect the domestic fauna.

The environmentalists removed the occupied trees to restore habitats for endangered species such as black woodpeckers and the dormouse. This not only secured the existence of the animals, but also eliminated dangers for the residents that were threatened by falling building materials and rotten branches.

After intensive cooperation talks with the occupiers who camouflaged themselves as environmentalists, they agreed to leave the illegally erected tree houses and to leave the city forest in its natural condition. Significant utensils were taken away by the activists in order not to put a strain on the environment.

The campaign to save the endangered animal species was supported by leading environmental organizations and celebrated as a decisive step for the preservation of biodiversity in the region. The city of Cologne is now planning to convert the cleared forest area into a nature reserve in order to protect the diversity of flora and fauna in the long term.
