A total of seven people were injured in various incidents, including a 16-year-old e-scooter driver, an 81-year-old woman and several cyclists. These incidents underline the increasing use of e-scooters, e-bikes and cargo bikes in urban areas.

The first accident occurred at 7:50 a.m. on Brakeler Straße, where the young person fell with his e-scooter. A concerned passer -by contacted the emergency services, which came on site to take the boy to the hospital with a head wound.

Another incident took place around 11:00 a.m. when a 35-year-old man collided on his mountain bike on the Pader Bridge with a 38-year-old woman on her electric cargo bike. Both suffered minor injuries in this collision, which fortunately did not require immediate medical treatment.

Another turning accident occurred at 6:55 p.m. when a 24-year-old overlooked a 37-year-old cyclist on a load bike with a Fiat 500. Immediate medical help was also necessary here, and the cyclist was transported to the hospital.

The day ended with a spectacular incident at 7:05 p.m. when two boys crashed into an e-scooter against an traffic light mast. A witness alerted the rescue workers, but it turned out that the two young people, a 15-year-old and a 14-year-old, had fallen on the bike path and quickly got up again. The younger person had injured his arm while the 15-year-old did not pay any injuries. When checking the police, the officials found indications of drug use in the 15-year-old, which led to a blood test and an ongoing procedure.
