Red alarm level: Integration courses 2025 before the end!

Bonn, Deutschland - alarm level red for the integration courses in Germany! According to the current draft budget, the financing in 2025 is not even sufficient to finish the ongoing courses. 180,000 people are facing out without gaining the necessary language skills for working life in Germany. A huge funding gap also gaps in the professional language courses: only 30 percent of the required funds are planned!

The adult education centers are raising the alarm and have been mobilizing against the impending clear cut for weeks. Politicians from various parties were invited to intensive discussions in order to look at the success of the participants and teachers on site. Martin Rabanus, chairman of the German Volkshochschul Association, urges the ministries: "Stop integration, would massively harm the future of our country!" The Federal Government is now obliged to increase the funds from currently 810 million to at least 1.7 billion euros in order to continue to be able to offer integration and professional language courses. Otherwise, this threatens the end of a success model that already affects over 10,000 teachers and in the long run can no longer be reactivated.
