The swimming pool operators of Bäderland Hamburg responded to this upcoming autumn change and announced that most outdoor pools will close in the coming week. This was published in a message on Facebook.

The cooler temperatures that are supposed to fall up to about 15 degrees Celsius make you think of summer farewell. The operator Bäderland has made it clear that Tuesday, September 10, will be the last day on which the outdoor pools are open. "The summer is coming to an end and with it the outdoor pool season! From Wednesday it will not only be very fresh during the day, but also at night," says the operator. Even if the temperatures are falling, there are two outdoor pools that remain open for the time being: the Kaifu-Bad and the Bondenwald-Bad.

However, there is hope for swimming lovers who do not want to do without their bathing experiences. The all -year freely baths in the city remain open. These include the Billebad, the Rahlstedt family bathroom, the mainland bath in Altona, the Holthusen-Bad, the Kaifu-Bad as well as Midsommerland and the Parkbad in Volksdorf. These facilities offer a way to stay active and enjoy the water even in the cooler months.

The outdoor pool season had a hesitant start this year: In June, the weather was still not inviting, it took until August for the temperatures to skyrocket and offered people the opportunity to swim.
