On Thursday afternoon, a spectacular accident occurred on Landesstraße 149 near Schlichting in the Dithmarschen district. A truck loaded with heating oil overturned after the driver lost control of the vehicle. The truck landed on the side of the street, while a small amount of heating oil expired. Fortunately, the driver was unharmed and the fire brigade was able to quickly secure the expired oil. However, the state road had to be closed for several hours, but has now been passable again, as the police said.
