Top game expected: Fulda meets strong TSV Bad Königshofen

in Fulda there is currently a remarkable spirit of optimism in table tennis. The team of the TTC Rhönsprudel Fulda-Maberzell managed to conquer the hearts of the audience. With an impressive start in the Bundesliga, they were already able to book two victories - the first was a convincing 3-1 in Ochsenhausen, followed by an almost historical 3-0 against the record champion Borussia Düsseldorf. These services took place in the inspiring framework of the Esperantohalle, which was full of passionate fans last Friday.

The team, which has increased significantly, experienced an increase in energy and performance with the new additions Dima Ovtcharov and Kao Cheng-Jui. The Taiwanese Kao in particular impressed with his performance against Düsseldorf's top player. Fanbo Meng, who was able to assert himself in the last competitions against Timo Boll, who is on his farewell tour, also made another highlight in his career. Ruwen Filus has of course also proven to be a valuable player. But the joy of the previous successes is clouded by the upcoming challenge.

The upcoming opponent: TSV Bad Königshofen

On Saturday there is another duel for the Fulda table tennis player against one of the best opponents: TSV Bad Königshofen. This team has also presented itself strongly and can look back on two victories in domestic games. Frauenholz, the 1st chairman of the TTC, warns of the challenge that Bad Königshofen brings. "You can say that," he explains. "After all, they also won twice." Bad Königshofen triumphed against Mühlhausen and Ochsenhausen and meanwhile fought into the quarter -finals with a convincing cup game against Mühlhausen.

The strength of the circle and positions at Bad Königshofen is huge. The opponent should not be underestimated with players like Bastian Steger, Japanese Jin Ueda, Filip Zeljko and Martin Allegro. As Frauenholz emphasizes, a full use will be required to win. "A really good team. We have to give everything," added the club managers. The pressure is high, but the motivation is also: "We want to take the feeling of victory with us", Frauenholz is certain.

Unfortunately, Kao will not be able to compete on Saturday because he plays for his country Taiwan in Kazakhstan. Nevertheless, there is hope that Chuang can return in time. Ovtcharov, Meng and Filus are ready and very motivated to take the next victory. Before the game, the entire team is supported by a loyal fan club that is always present and ensures an extraordinary atmosphere.

The anticipation for the upcoming game is great and fans keep their fans for another success in this exciting season, which will take a little break after this game. The TTC Rhönsprudel Fulda-Maberzell has already left a lasting impression and shows itself as a serious competitor in the league.
