Community festival with a sense of we: Nagelsmann and pastor preaching cohesion
a festival for the community: cohesion in the Kreuzkirche Fulda
Last Sunday there was a special community festival in the Kreuzkirche in Fulda, which devoted itself entirely to the subject of cohesion and the "we". Under the direction of Pastor Stefan Bürger and his team, around 180 visitors and over 25 children in the children's service experienced an inspiring event that highlighted the importance of community values and mutual respect.
The day started with the Aaanderen service, an innovative and interactive form of service that has already inspired many people. The federal coach Nagelsmann also emphasized the importance of cohesion and community. The idea that it is better to act together as alone, went through the event like a thread. Pastor Citizens suggested thought about the role of the Church and whether it should be closer or more opened to strengthen the "we".
A highlight of the day was the sing -along concert with Dean Dr. Thorsten Waap, who crossed the visitors and brought them together in a musical way. The atmosphere of community and joy spread among the chestnuts and in the parish room, where people could exchange ideas during food and drinks. Children were able to take part in a game course under the supervision of youth officers and also experience the value of the cooperation.
The festival in the Kreuzkirche Fulda was a clear sign of the cohesion and openness of a lively community. It shows that values such as hospitality, individuality and constant renewal are decisive to form a strong “we” that extends beyond the borders of the community.
