New culinary enjoyment in Fulda: The second Neiselmarkt starts with cathedral square concerts

The city of Fulda not only presents cultural highlights such as the cathedral square concerts and the Bonifatius musical, but also starts the regional "Neiselmarkt" before the tourist information on Bonifatiusplatz. This culinary event takes place from July 11th to August 31st and offers visitors the opportunity to experience the variety of the region.

The Neiselmarkt, which takes place from July 11th to August 31st before the tourist information in Fulda, is a platform for local manufacturers and marketers to present their products. This market was seen as a great success last year and is now supposed to offer delicacies again.

The organizers Christoph Jestädt, Patrick Bohl, Florian Lorösch and Jonas Sporer want to offer culinary little things, regional wines and drinks. Their goal is to make visitors tangible to the hospitality of the region and to create a connection. Jestädt emphasizes that enjoyment and culinary delights strengthen the identity and connection of a region.

The Neiselmarkt opens its doors on Thursday, July 11th and is open until August 31, Wednesday to Saturday from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. In addition to the concert by Peter Fox on July 16 on the cathedral square, the market will also be open on Tuesday.

A special highlight to the start of the market is the support from Fulda's partner city Dokkum. The “Stadbrouwerij Bonifatius” will be a guest from Friesland from July 12th to 13th. The historical city friendship between Fulda and Dokkum goes back to the missionary and martyr Bonifatius.
