Wiesn-Madl semi-finals: Readers can choose the next finalists!

It was a weekend full of gloss and glamor in the picturesque Kaiserwinkl in Austria, where the competition for the crown of the TZ-Wiesn-Madl went to the next level. The event took place in the Hotel Seehof am Walchsee and attracted 24 talented young women who faced the judgment of a top -class jury. The next Oktoberfest stars could be among them, because the final decision, whoever receives a golden ticket to the final, is now in the hands of the readers.

The backdrop was nothing less than fantastic: turquoise water was reflected under a bright blue sky, and the candidates did their best to inspire both the jury and the spectators. Of the 24 participants, five managed to qualify directly for the final: Lilly (18), Laetitia (24), Sarah (30), Laura (26) and Melanie (25). For everyone else, however, there is the possibility to move into the next round by a spectator vote.

emotional moments and a jury full of experience

The mood was emotionally charged when every candidate presented the jury. Sarah was overjoyed after her nomination and spoke of an excess of feelings. "I don't even know where to go with my emotions, I'm so delighted," she said her joy. Melanie, on the other hand, could not expect her family to tell her family about the great news. "Aaah, mom, I'm in the final!" she screamed on the phone.

The jury itself was a colorful mix of experts, including Sebastian Arbinger, editor -in -chief of the TZ, as well as representatives of traditional costumes Angermaier and the Kaiserwinkl tourism association. They had the difficult task of choosing the most outstanding talent after the 24 participants were able to prevail against around 400 applicants. These had proven themselves in a multi -stage selection process, which included both beauty and style.

A significant part of the competition was the impressive photo shoot on the Walchsee promenade, where each participant was dressed by Trachten Angermaier in an exquisite dirndl. The shoot not only offered an opportunity to show the joy of traditional costume fashion, but also to perfectly bring out your own personality and charm. Julia encouraged her uncle to participate, while Lara spontaneously decided with her application to simply take part. "To be able to be here alone makes me happy," she added.
