On the trot racing track in Gelsenkirchen, an exciting spectacle was offered on Sunday! Trainer champion Wolfgang Nimczyk from Willich presented the most successful team of the day with four wins. His son, Michael Nimczyk, took over the Sulky twice and was in shape in the victories. The highlight of the day was the victory of the 38:10 co-favorite Mud Hill, directed by Dutch Marciano Hauber, who briefly stepped in for Robbin Bot. In a dramatic course, "Goldhelm" Michael Nimczyk was even disqualified with his horse Villeneuf (30:10) - a real shock for the fans!
The event in Nienhausen Busch attracted a betting volume of impressive 87,473 euros, which corresponds to an average of over 7,289 euros per race. This shows the enormous interest and enthusiasm for equestrian sport in the region. Tom maps and Marlene Matzky were also successful in amateur driving.
