Görlitz: Dispute over Jakob Garten-Church board strokes AfD candidates!
In the Catholic parish of Holy Wenzel in Görlitz, Jakob Garten, who is sitting for the AfD in the city council, was once again deleted by the list of candidates. This is the second attempt to push the lawyer out of the election. The church council decided on September 26, the garden due to its mandate and its role as deputy parliamentary group leader, which is supposedly incompatible with the principles of the Catholic Church. Garden criticizes this decision as "illegal" and suspects a "networked group of modernists" who want to take the church for its purposes. He emphasizes that no one has explained to him what the contradictions are about his views, and sees it a restriction of his defense opportunities.
In addition, a prayer caused a sensation in the Evangelical inner city community on the eve of the CSD, as questions about the acceptance of different social views came up. Pastor Matthias Paul stated that similar devotions could also be promised for people with different opinions. Garden, which last met with violent rejection in the 'March for the Life' in Berlin, could evaluate this openness positively. However, the incident raises the question of how much space there is really in the church for different points of view. For more information on this topic, see the report on www.alles-lausitz.de .
