Polish men arrested in Görlitz: one free, one in jail!

Görlitz, Deutschland - Yesterday in Görlitz and Podrosche there were two arrests of Polish men from the Federal Police Inspection Ludwigsdorf. A 43-year-old was caught on the city bridge, while a 24-year-old was placed in front of the authorities at the border crossing in Podrosche. The older one was able to regain his freedom after paying a total fine of 280 euros and procedural costs of 222.56 euros. These payments had become necessary after an enforcement recruitment command had been issued in traffic for drunkenness.

The 24-year-old was different. He was immediately handed over to the prison officer because he could not raise the requested fine of 900 euros that had been imposed on him due to a fraud judgment by the Hof district court. The Hof public prosecutor's office had issued the enforcement recruitment order after the man had not complied with his obligation to pay. Details are still sparse, but www.presseportal.de
