Pop-up studio brings NDR programs directly to Harburg: live broadcasts, interviews and dialogues in Bremer Strasse

NDR pop-up in Harburg-new ways for direct contact with the residents

Harburg, a district in the south of Hamburg, will be the center of an innovative campaign by the NDR State Funkhaus Hamburg from July 13, 2024. There the Landesfunkhaus opens a temporary studio in the "Bremer Strasse" pedestrian zone to be closer to the residents and to better understand their wishes and concerns.

The pop-up studio is operated for two months until September 13th and offers live broadcasts, talk formats and the opportunity to get in touch with the people on site. This new format enables the NDR to better understand and report on the interests of the Hamburgers.

Bremer Straße 3 becomes the location of the pop-up studio. Here, in an empty shop area, the program makers will perform actions every day. For example, the NDR will send 90.3 afternoon moderator Stephan Heller live from Harburg every day from July 15th to 19th and present the entire show from the temporary studio.

A special highlight is the summer interview with the first mayor of Hamburg, Peter Tschenscher, on July 12th. The second mayor Katharina Fegebank and the parliamentary tips of the citizens will also be a guest in the pop-up studio in July and August. The interviews are recorded and broadcast on the same day in the 6:00 p.m. issue of the Hamburg Journal.

But the focus is not only on the programs, but also the direct dialogue with the residents. The Landesfunkhaus wants to learn what moves people in Harburg and the surrounding districts. Editors of NDR Hamburg will be on site during the opening hours of the pop-up studio and look forward to talking to the residents.

The NDR Pop-up Studio in Harburg, at Bremer Straße 3, is open from July 13 to August 31, 2024, from Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Various live broadcasts and interviews are planned to promote direct exchange with the residents.
