Football project promotes fair play and team spirit at primary school Maroldsweisach

social competence through football training with Stephan Becht

A new approach to promoting social skills was introduced by the Maroldsweisach primary school: football training with the trained trainer Stephan Becht was the focus. This project was implemented as a supplement to the school motto "We are friendly, fair and clever" to bring fair play, team spirit and respect closer to the students.

Stephan Becht, an experienced trainer with a B-license, set the goal of teaching the students responsibility, communication strategies and dealing with conflicts. In addition, the focus was on the fun of movement. The students were encouraged to deal fairly and appreciate the importance of teamwork.

The football training took place at the school's break stations, but could be moved to the sports hall in bad weather. The students learned how to set up a player team without choosing just the best players. FairPlay was a central topic that required the students insight and adequate behavior.

A highlight of the training was a speedy game in which the students had to switch off different colored lights in a certain order. At the end of the training session, both the children and the trainer were satisfied. Hopefully the knowledge gained will have long -term effects on the behavior of the students in school and leisure.

The school bolzer project was in collaboration with the sports club Maroldsweisach 1946 e. V. carried out and carried out by the Federal Ministry for Family, Seniors, Women and Youth as part of the federal program "Live democracy!" supports. Thanks to donations from Stehimpuls GbR and the bus company Schnabel, the remaining costs could be covered.
