Federal police take 21 people in the border region in custody

Pasewalk / Grambow / Ladenthin / Löcknitz

The situation on the German borders remains tense because the federal police recently carried out a number of controls in the border area. A line -up of civil servants was actively on the road in the region and took up a total of 21 people who were traveling without valid on retention documents. These measures took place in different locations, including Löcknitz, Ladenthin, Plöwen and Grambow, and illustrate the continuous pressure due to migration.

The first stop was made in Löcknitz, where a 20-year-old Syrian was found without the required documents. Immediately afterwards, a 20-year-old Afghan was also taken up in Ladenthin. After completing the necessary police procedures, both men were brought to Stern-Buchholz, where they are safe.

different nationalities, same challenge

In the evening at 8:50 p.m. there was another incident in Plöwen, where three men from Iraq were checked. They were also referred to the initial reception facility. This shows that migration in the region is not only limited to individual nationalities, but a relevant phenomenon that affects many different countries of origin.

An hour later, at 9:50 p.m., the federal police were informed about a nine -member group of migrants who had entered Poland via the train. This group consisted of seven Eritreans and two Ethiopians who were stopped at the train station in Grambow. The federal police acted quickly and rejected them to Poland the same night.

In addition, a Pakistani was detained at the same train station. The customs took it into investigation and handed it over to Polish border protection the following day. Such events underline the challenges that the police have to master in the border area.

Citizens' instructions as support

Another important part of these controls represents the cooperation with the population. On a citizen notice, the federal police checked the train station in Pasewalk around 5:30 a.m. on the morning of today and met six Afghan nationals. Among these were able to present four people with Russian visas, which gives interesting insights into the travel routes of the migrants. However, none of them were able to present further residence-legitimizing documents for Germany, which resulted in this group also referred to Stern-Buchholz.

These events skill lightly on the complex challenges and dynamics in migration policy at the German borders. The federal police are proactive and does everything they can to maintain the security situation in the border areas. The multitude of nationalities and the circumstances under which these people are applied emphasize the urgency and relevance of these measures. The ongoing controls are not just a reaction to current events, but part of a strategic initiative to ensure security and order.
