A tragic traffic accident occurred on Monday near Ludwigsstadt when a 70-year-old driver suddenly lost consciousness. The incident happened around 11:45 a.m. on Tettauer Strasse, while her husband, the passenger, tried desperately to take the tax. But all attempts to rescue came too late and the car got out of control.The vehicle initially drifted to the left of the street and crashed against the entrance stairs of a house and a street lamp. Then standing wildly to the right, it crashed into a parked car with full force before it finally came to a standstill. The alarmed rescue workers took the unconscious driver to the hospital for a medical examination, while her husband was unharmed. The total damage caused by the accident is estimated at over 42,000 euros, and both vehicles had to be towed. The Ebersdorf volunteer fire brigade supported the police in the accident recording and cleaning the road after the incident, which also temporarily impaired the traffic situation.
