Criminal offense of a driver: drug use and driving without a driving license in Bingen

An unusual incident occurred last night on Saarlandstrasse in Bingen. A 30-year-old driver from the Mainz-Bingen district was checked by officers from the Bingen police inspection. What initially looked like a routine traffic control quickly took an unexpected turn.

The driver was already known to the police and again showed signs of drug use. When he was offered a rapid drug test, he initially refused, but later he tried to deceive the officials by presenting water from the toilet instead of urine sample. Despite his efforts, a blood test was taken to ensure evidence.

To make matters worse, it turned out that the driver had been withdrawn from the driver's license, which meant that he was not justified to keep a vehicle. Although he was still carrying his driver's license with him, he was drafted. The man must now expect criminal consequences for his behavior.

This incident illustrates the dangers of driving under the influence of drugs and without a valid driving license. It reminds us of how important it is to take part in road traffic responsibly and comply with the applicable laws. The Bingen police inspection is still in use to ensure the safety of all road users.
