Near Döbeln, more precisely at Karl's adventure village, there was a dramatic traffic accident on Wednesday evening. A Toyota driver who was on the B169 from Riesa around 7 p.m. lost control of his vehicle, raced over several traffic islands and finally ended up in the ditch. The car's airbags were triggered and the driver suffered serious injuries. He was immediately taken to the hospital.

According to the initial information from the police, the driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
