Summer fun in the outdoor pool: The last highlights in Hersbruck and the surrounding area
Nürnberger Land/Hersbruck - while many bathers enjoy the last midsummer weekend in the outdoor pool, the end of the season inevitably moves closer. The outdoor pools in the Nuremberg region are preparing for their final sprint and presenting some exciting highlights in the remaining days that are supposed to attract water rats and sun worshipers.
A event highlight will take place on September 9th in Hersbrucker Strudelbad. On this day, the bathroom will open its gates last time and welcome the guests one last time before the Bavarian summer vacation ends. The Hirschbacher outdoor pool also strives for the same closing date, whereby the final decision depends heavily on the outside temperatures. If the thermometer falls under the 20-degree mark, the bathroom remains closed and the swimmers have to look for other activities.
seasonal qualifications and special events
The outdoor pool in Etzelwang has not yet published a definitive closing date, but the company remains guaranteed by September 9th. Whether an opening for the particularly committed swimmers can then take place depends entirely on the weather. With sufficient warm temperatures, the bathroom could remain open to its visitors for a few more days even after the official end of the fire brigade season.
Another highlight for animal lovers offers the Königstein Natural Pad on the last day of the holiday. Here, dogs can jump into the water on September 9 and - in the spirit of the four -legged friends - let off steam. The gates of the bathroom only close that day at 8 p.m., with swimming operation ending at 4 p.m. Entry on this special day is free for all visitors, which causes additional enthusiasm.
The bathers in the Weißenbrunn natural pool and in the Ill Schwanger Freibad are also enjoying extended opening hours. The last day of swimming in Weißenbrunn is September 15th. The Ill Schwangen outdoor pool will even remain open until September 15, but it closes at 7 p.m. from September 1st. The outdoor pools in the region have plans to offer the last visitors for an unforgettable time.
The rapidly changing weather conditions do not always make life easy for the operators and the bathers. While some outdoor pools have a clear locking policy, others can react flexibly to the temperatures. In bright sunshine and pleasant water temperatures, the pools attract numerous guests. However, their joy in water could be quickly clouded by cold temperatures.
Whatever the last outdoor pool days will run, August brought great joy to the region despite its high temperatures. The last highlights in the outdoor pools are not only a nice end of the season, but also an opportunity to enjoy the summer days to the fullest.
