Böhlaer Straße in Calbitz is subjected to a comprehensive renovation in the foreseeable future, which includes both the road as well as the banquets and trenches. This measure is carried out by the road construction office of the North Saxony district and extends over a length of around 370 meters between the Hainstrasse junction and the village pond.

The construction work is planned for the period from July 15 to August 3, 2024 and have an estimated cost of around 100,000 euros. During this time, the traffic from Großböhla is diverted via Dahlen and Luppa to Calbitz, while vehicles from Luppa can use Bundesstraße 6 and the state road 29 to achieve their goal.
