Autumn hiking joy: Experience the Pirminius days in Pirmasens!

Pirmasens is ready for the Pirminius hiking and adventure days, which take place from October 4th to October 6th. This event invites all nature lovers to experience the beauty of autumn with all your senses, as the city of Pirmasens announces.

On Friday, October 4th, the program begins with the exciting tour "Explore the ponds together". The idyllic Gersbach valley is explored under the expert guidance of Sabrina Brestel, who works for the State Sports Association of Rhineland-Palatinate. The inclusion hike is on about two hours and starts at 10 a.m. at the Naturfreundehaus in Niedersimten. This event offers a wonderful opportunity to enjoy nature in a protected framework and at the same time to establish social contacts.

During the second day, October 5, the focus is on the so -called Waldbaden. The courses, which are led by Anne and Patrik Zupener by "Naturally Waldbaden", are located in the sense of relaxation and nature perception. The a maximum of three kilometers long tours are distributed to three appointments: 10 a.m., 12.30 p.m. and 3 p.m. All hikes begin at the "Platatt" hiking car park at the Adolf-Ludwig-Ring. Participants have the opportunity to interact with nature without stress and to leave everyday stress behind through various relaxation exercises.

final hike to the Rabenfels

The crowning conclusion of the Pirminius experience days is the hike to the Rabenfels on Sunday, October 6th. This tour leads the participants together with the hiking guides Manfred Wohl and Hans-Peter Arnold across the picturesque Graf-Heinrich-Weg to the Lemberg castle ruin. The route extends over eight kilometers and starts at 10.30 a.m. from the parking lot below Lemberg Castle. This hike not only offers physical activity, but also fascinating insights into the history of the region, while the participants also enjoy the autumn landscape.

Participation in these adventure days is free. Interested parties have to register beforehand to secure their place. The organizers advise to wear good footwear and weather -appropriate clothing in order to be able to experience nature optimally.
