Thuringian sailors triumph on the Bleilochtalsperre at the first MDVM!
The first Central German club championships on the Bleilochtalsperre became a triumphant festival for the Thuringian sailors! The team of the Saalburg sailing club, with the members Uwe and Ulrike Stumpf as well as Phil and Katja Wagenführ, secured the championship title. A total of 20 teams from Thuringia, Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt competed to fight for the coveted trophy in gripping competitions.
The regatta took place in cool temperatures and changing winds in an exciting format that promoted the generation richness of sport. With at least one participant under the age of 18 or over 74 in each crew, the team spirit was emphasized in an impressive way.
