On August 25th, the East German rose garden was open from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and put the motto "Relax, enjoy & discover" in focus, where visitors were able to explore a fascinating world of the senses.

Visitors who want to learn more about the history of the East German rose garden have the opportunity to take part in a public parking tour that takes place daily at 11:00 a.m. With over 17 hectares and tens of thousands of roses in almost 1,000 varieties, the garden offers an impressive backdrop and a wonderful framework for education and relaxation.

The events are actively supported by the support association "East German Rosengarten 1913-Forst (Lausitz)" e.V., the Volksbank Spree-Neiße eG and the Spree-Neiße/WoKrejs Sprjewja-Nysa. The price for the tour is € 3.50 per person plus entry.
