Work accident in Leblfing- crane seriously injured

A tragic incident recently shook the small community of Leblfing in the idyllic district of Straubing-Bogen. Two construction workers, at the age of 30 and 38, were seriously injured by a suddenly collapsing crane when working on a roof. This incident highlights a highlight of the dangers with which workers are confronted on construction sites every day.

The two workers suddenly gave themselves on a conductor's stage together with two other colleagues when the crane, who was used to transport roof sheets, suddenly gave in. The crane, remotely controlled by the 30-year-old worker, crashed and clamped the men. The local fire brigade hurried to rescue and was able to free the seriously injured.

While the 38-year-old construction worker was taken to the hospital with an ambulance, his younger colleague had to be transported by helicopter due to the seriousness of his injuries.
