Theft of electric tools in wide spaces

An incident in Breitungen alerted the residents of the city - unknown people stole a cordless screwdriver with two batteries from the “Makita” brand as well as a charger and a drilling machine from a construction site. This theft occurred between June 28, 2024, 9:30 p.m., and Sunday, 1:00 p.m., in Tamara-Danz-Straße.

The stolen devices have a total value of around 500 euros. The police inspection Schmalkalden-Meiningen asks witnesses who have information about this incident to report on 03693 591-0 with the file number 0172474/2024.

This theft not only has financial impact on the owners of the construction site, but also indicates an increase in thefts of power tools in the region. It is important that the residents are vigilant and report suspicious activities to maintain security in the community.
