Serious accident in the Delmenhorster train station: 96-year-old injured

In the early afternoon, a shocking incident occurred at Delmenhorst station. A 96 -year -old man was recorded by an in -house intercity. The accident occurred around 1:55 p.m. when the man fell from the platform into the track for reasons that have so far been unexplained. Despite the immediate quick braking of the train, it could not be prevented that the man was seriously injured.

The federal police have so far not published any precise information about the causes of the fall, but it is clear that the situation was extremely serious. The rescuer service and emergency doctors were quickly on hand to supply the injured person. After the first medical aid, the man was immediately flown to a clinic with a helicopter where he should receive further treatment.
