Matthias Schlitt fights bronze at World Cup after a violent duel!
Over 500 participants from 34 nations fought for the title at the Armwrestling World Championship, and Matthias Schlitte from Germany has impressively beaten up! After months of intensive training, Schlitte, with a fighting weight of 69.6 kg, competed in the category up to 70 kg on Saturday. In an exciting competition, he prevailed against strong opponents from the USA, Poland and Bulgaria, but had to accept a bitter defeat in the fight against a Greek local hero in round 4.
Despite these setbacks, he managed to reach the podium and was happy about the bronze medal. "20 opponents are a real house number," said Schlitte, proud of his success. The 13-fold German champion has completed his medal set at World Championships. But the celebrations are not over yet: On October 12th, the International Over The Top in the Wolfsburg Congerspark continues, where slide gets into the ring again and wants to inspire the audience. Tickets for the event are available from € 10. More information is available here .
