Theft warning in Friedberg: Protect your wallet from long fingers!

The theft of a wallet from a handbag in the Penny market on Straßheimer Strasse in Friedberg alerted the local community. A 59-year-old Friedberger made her wallet hang in her handbag over the foldable child seat of the shopping cart and was the victim of the theft.

The incident occurred on Friday, July 5th, 2024, between 4:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. when a long finger took the opportunity to steal the wallet unnoticed. The police in Friedberg was immediately informed and asks for witness information on 06031 6010.

It is strongly recommended not to leave wallets in shopping bags or cars, but to carry them safely on the body. This can be done with the help of closable interior pockets of clothing or well-sealed hand and shoulder bags. Always wear your bag on the front of the body to prevent thefts.
