The annual “Rhein in Flames” event draws numerous visitors to the picturesque places on the Rhine and not only offers a visual, but also a cultural experience. On August 10, 2024, the spectacle will take place in Spay, Braubach and Koblenz.

This year the fireworks extend over a period of about 90 minutes, starting at 9:40 p.m. in Spay and ending at 11:00 p.m. at the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress in Koblenz. In addition to many other cities along the Rhine, where the ships cross the impressive backdrop of the region, the fireworks can also be viewed from the shore. The exact times of fireworks are:

  • Spay: approx. 9:40 pm
  • Braubach: approx. 9:45 p.m.
  • Rhens: approx. 9:50 pm
  • Stolzenfels: approx. 10:00 p.m.
  • Lahnstein: approx. 10:10 p.m.
  • Koblenzer brewery: approx. 10:15 p.m.
  • Fortress Ehrenbreitstein: approx. 11:00 p.m.
