Bicycle plaster campaign at the cathedral: Help the clinic clowns in Münster!
On Saturday, September 14th, the Münster City Deanery will take action again and start a loving initiative that makes the gray everyday life of many people a bit more colorful. The cathedral messages of the St. Paulus Cathedral have teamed up to collect bicycles that have accumulated a layer of dirt and dust in the course of the summer.
From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., all bicycle owners are invited to hand over their bike at the Domwerkhof am Horsteberg behind the cathedral. A committed team of valet will clean the bicycles with zeal and skill. The proud owners can get their bikes back against a voluntary donation after care. This donation can be made at any amount, which enables everyone to actively participate in this charitable occasion.
a good purpose in focus
The proceeds from this campaign will be donated to the UKM-Clinic clown campaign this year. These remarkable clowns have specialized in preparing small patients in the Münster University Hospital. They visit the children in the hospital to bring them smile and joy while they live through an often stressful and challenging hospital stay. The clowns manage to loosen up the difficult everyday life of the little patients with humor and empathy, which benefits not only the children but also their parents.
This initiative is not only a way to make your own bike fit for autumn, but also promotes an important thing that benefits many people. For years, the cathedral indicators have been committed to the UKM-Clinic clown campaign and show that community and solidarity can also come out in small actions.
The event is not only a practical help for all cyclists who want to get their bicycles back on shape, but also creates an opportunity to network with others and to strengthen the sense of community. The cathedral messages hope for numerous visitors who are willing to give up their bikes and participate in the campaign. A small act of charity becomes more than just a cleaning - it will be an opportunity to help others in difficult times and to bring joy.
All interested parties are invited to stop by this special day and help to conjure up a smile in the faces of the children in the clinic.
