Additional buses for students: Ruhpolding and Traunstein in the transfer

The upcoming school openings on September 10th bring an important innovation for the pupils in the Ruhpolding and Siegsdorf region: additional bus connections are provided to alleviate the effects of track construction work on the railway line between Ruhpolding and Traunstein. The Bavarian Regiobahn has announced this service to ensure that the children can get to school safely and on time.

The track construction work, which will last until October 21, lead to the regular train connections interrupted. Pupils who normally take the train to Traunstein have to switch to replacement buses. In order to cover the increased need, the regiobahn decided to use additional buses in the morning and at noon.

Details about the additional buses

In the morning from 7:06 a.m., two additional buses from Ruhpolding are to go to Traunstein on school days. These buses stop at the usual SEV travel route and offer a direct connection to the school trip. In addition, there are two more buses that only hold at certain stops such as the Ruhpoldinger Bahnhof and the Aral petrol station before going to the Sparz Girls Real School and the Chiemgau-Gymnasium without further intermediate stops.

In the midday hours, the students will also benefit from additional bus connections. In addition to the regular departure at 1:24 p.m., buses are also planned to Siegsdorf and at 1:10 p.m. to Ruhpolding at 1:24 p.m. These buses will efficiently bring all the pupils who leave school at the days mentioned.

A practical aspect of the new regulations is that due to the construction site situation in Siegsdorf, the SEV buses cannot stop at the station there. Instead, they stop at the RVO stop "Gh. Trout", which is located near the "Alte Post" inn. This ensures that all children have the opportunity to get in without having to accept large detours.

The background of the route closure are extensive track construction work between Traunstein and Siegsdorf, which are necessary to modernize the infrastructure. The Siegsdorf station is also subjected to a complete conversion, which includes a new electronic signal box and a barrier -free platform. These measures are part of the long -term planning of the DB Regionetz Infrastructure GmbH to improve the safety and comfort of rail traffic.

The introduction of these additional buses for the pupils in Ruhpolding and Siegsdorf are summarized as necessary and helpful. The adjustments to the timetables not only offer an immediate solution for the challenges resulting during the construction work, but also promote punctual arrival at the place of teaching. The regiobahn reacts to the needs of those affected and actively acts during this transition period.
