On Thursday, August 29, his team announced on Instagram that the 78-year-old hit star is planning an open-air tour through Germany in the summer of 2025 and will give a concert in Gelsenkirchen. Specific appointment: July 24, 2025, in the popular amphitheater of the Nordsternpark. The regionality is particularly important here, since only one of the five appointments takes place in North Rhine-Westphalia, which encourages the local ones.

The last appearance of Carpendale in the same place was only one and a half years ago when he almost had to cancel almost a concert in early 2024.
